Equip your scow with a Cargo Extender 1 (the only version you can use), and you'll have a respectable 14 units of cargo space. In the early-game systems, and even some of the ones with a "High" threat level, you can spend a few hours running cargo or taking on low-risk bounty missions. What it lacks in power, defense, and maneuverability, it makes up for in hefty cargo space and a good number of weapon hardpoints for its size and cost.
